The Santos, one of Cartier's most iconic watches, began its history with the Santos de Cartier collection, which was launched in 1904.
The Santos Galbee is a vintage model that is now discontinued. Based on the original Santos, the design features screws from the airplane that inspired its creation.
This Ref. 119901, manufactured in the 1990s, is a rare Santos Galbee model featuring pointer date and moonphase display.
The case is made of stainless steel, and the bezel is made of 18K yellow gold. It is a men's size with a width of 29mm and a height of 41mm.
The dial features a matte ivory finish. The familiar Roman numeral indices, characteristic of Cartier watches, are perfectly balanced with a pointer-style date display and moonphase display. The design captivates with the mystical beauty and elegance of the changing lunar phases.
The watch is equipped with a quartz movement. It has the advantage of being easy to use on a daily basis as it does not require winding. Since it basically only requires a battery change, there is no need to worry about the high maintenance costs of a complicated mechanism.
A distinctive feature unique to vintage Santos watches is that the buckle of the genuine bracelet is engraved with the iconic Cartier double C logo.

Due to Washington Convention, we cannot export Crocodile/Alligator/Lizard leather overseas.We will replace the strap with a similar strap made of calf leather as an alternative.
Or we will send the watch without strap if we don't have stocks of them.
