The Santos, one of Cartier's most iconic watches, began its history with the Santos de Cartier collection, which was launched in 1904.
The Santos Galbee is a vintage model that is now discontinued. Based on the original Santos, the design features screws from the airplane that inspired its creation.
This Ref. 887901 was manufactured in the 1990s and is a rare all-gold model for the Santos Galbee.
Unlike the typical Santos Galbee, not only the bezel but also the case and bracelet are made of 18K yellow gold. It is LM size (men's size) with a width of 29mm and a height of 41mm.
The dial is a matte ivory with the the Roman numeral indexes and blue steel hands that are characteristic of Cartier watches.
The movement features a quartz mechanism. Its advantage lies in eliminating the need for winding, making it easy for everyday use. Since it essentially only requires battery replacement, there's no need to worry about the high maintenance costs.
Another unique feature of vintage Santos is that the buckle of the genuine bracelet is engraved with Cartier's iconic 2C mark.
You can really feel the weight of the 18K gold. The bracelet measures 18cm in length.
Completely serviced by Cartier in June 2024. In the service, the pins connecting the case and bracelet were replaced, along with the hands, crown, and crown tube.

Due to Washington Convention, we cannot export Crocodile/Alligator/Lizard leather overseas.We will replace the strap with a similar strap made of calf leather as an alternative.
Or we will send the watch without strap if we don't have stocks of them.
