Louis Cartier, the third generation of the Cartier family, designed the “Tank” in 1916 and launched the first model in 1919, which was the origin of the Tank watch.

It is said that the original design of the Tank was based on a plan of a tank called FT-17, which was made by Renault (the car manufacturer) during World War I. The Tank LC was designed in 1922.

And this “Tank Louis Cartier(Tank LC)” was created in 1922, and as the name implies, it was famously used by Louis Cartier himself.

This model is the Tank LC Extra-Flat, produced in the 80’s and early 90’s. As the name suggests, it is very thin.

As the name suggests, it is very thin and light, and it is so light that it is hard to believe it is made of solid 18k gold.

The original dial is casually but casually guillochet engraved, giving it a three-dimensional, more dressy look.
