-Description

Patek Philippe is a manufacturer founded in Geneva in 1839.

The independence of the family business and the reliability that all watches can be repaired create a value as an asset that is passed on from generation to generation.

This watch is the pinnacle of classic dress watches and the brand's iconic Patek Philippe watch.

Ref.96, announced in 1932, is the root of the Patek Philippe collection.

The name Patek Philippe comes from the brand's emblem, the Croix de Calatrava. This cross originates from the pattern of the Spanish Knights of the 12th century.

The design of this watch is directly inspired by the Bauhaus philosophy that "function determines form", which is also a model for modern watch design.

This Ref.3796 follows the original Ref.96 design and was released in 1982.

The case size is 30.5mm, which is the same as Ref.96, and the case material is 18K white gold.

The "G" in the 3796G is the acronym for the French word Gris, which means gray and stands for WG case.

The design of the flat bezel, which is a lug integrated with thecase, can be said to be the greatest feature of the 96 series Patek Philippe Cala.

In addition, there are σ (sigma) marks on both sides of the SWISS at 6 o'clock on the dial.

This is a notation found on watches from 1973 to 2000 by a manufacturer that belonged to an organization called APRIOR, and indicates that precious metals such as gold are used for the dial and index. ..

It was put in for the purpose of "indicating that it is a high quality watch made in Switzerland in gold".

The movement is manual-wind Cal.215 PS.

This is a very classic thin manual-wind movement, but also used in the current model, Ref.5196.

* Since the belt is passed once when the wearing photo is taken, there are some marks. please note that.
