Patek Philippe is a manufacturer founded in Geneva in 1839. The company makes watches that allow no compromise at all by utilizing its overwhelming quality and technical capabilities.

This is very rare bracelet-integrated Calatrava Reference 5022.
The name Calatrava comes from the Calatrava cross (Croix de Calatrava), which is also the emblem of the brand. The cross originates from a 12th-century Spanish knightly crest.
The design of this watch is directly inspired by the Bauhaus philosophy that "function determines form", which has become a model for modern watch design.
The Ref. 96, introduced in 1932, is the root of the Calatrava collection.
Reference 5022 was sold from 1997 to around 2005.
This reference has a model called "Officer" with white dial and Breguet numerals and Breguet hands.
This watch is an early version of the 5022 with guilloché engraving on the entire dial.
The case is made of 18K yellow gold and measures 33.5mm.
The "J" in 5022J stands for Jaune in French, the first letter of the word for yellow, and represents the case made by yellow gold.
It is smaller than Ref. 5196, which is also in the 5000 series.
The dial is a white dial with guilloche engraving.
The guilloché engraving on the dial is curved like ripples and is a beauty that will make you fall in love.
The index is the Applied Gold Roman Index. The point is the design that the inside of the number is hollowed out.
The integrated bracelet is made of the same 18K yellow gold as the case. The buckle also has a Calatrava cross design.
The length of the bracelet is approximately 19 cm, but it can be adjusted by removing a few links up to 18 cm.
The movement is manual wind Cal.215 PS.
It is a very classic thin manual-wind movement, but it has modern performance and is still used in current models such as Ref. 5196 after more than 40 years.

About Complete Service
Complete service, sometime called overhaul is the work of disassembling a mechanical product down to its individual parts, cleaning and reassembling it to bring it closer to its new state of performance.
Roughly speaking, the overhaul procedure is as follows.
1. Separate into case and movement
2. Disassemble the movement
3. Inspection and pre-cleaning of wear condition of each part
4. Wash parts with a special machine
5. Lubrication and assembly
6. Waterproof test
7. Final adjustment and running test.
Some movements are made up of hundreds of parts, but it is a very meticulous process of disassembling them one by one, inspecting them all, cleaning them, and reassembling them.
If you don't overhaul, the oil will deteriorate just like a car, and the risk of wear and damage to parts increases, causing a decrease in accuracy and, in severe cases, not working.
