-Description
Rolex Cellini is a collection that focuses on elegance without the Oyster case.

Cellini has a long history and was created in 1928.

The name 'Cellini' comes from the 16th century Renaissance Italian engraver Benvenuto Cellini.

This watch, Ref 3804, was produced in circa 1974.

The case material is 18K white gold and the shape is round, but the lugs are integrated into a curved design.

The dial is a blue-grey dial with sunray finish.

It is thought to have originally been navy color, but has become blue-grey with age.

There is also a sigma mark next to SWISS at 6 o'clock on the dial.

This is a notation found on watches made from around 1973 to 2000 by manufacturers who belonged to the APRIOR organisation, and indicates the use of precious metals such as gold for the dial and hour markers.

It was put there to indicate that "the watch is a Swiss-made of gold and of high quality."

This mark is found on watches from five companies - Rolex, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, IWC and Omega - but not all watches had it.

It comes with a genuine Rolex stainless steel buckle.
