Rolex Cellini is a dress line that is particular about elegance without using the oyster case, which is the biggest feature of the brand.

Although it is not as well known as the dress line and sports models of oyster cases such as Datejust, it has a long history and was born in 1928.

The name "Cerini" comes from a person named Benvenuto Cellini, an Italian engraver of the Renaissance period in the 16th century.

The fact that this Cellini is the only one in the Rolex collection that has the name of a particular person means that this Cellini has a unique standing position.

The material of the

case is Cellini, which is produced only in gold or platinum, but there are countless variations in the combination of the case, dial and hands.

This watch is a model called Ref.3804 manufactured in the early 1970s.

The case material is 18K white gold and the shape is round, but the lug part is integrated into a curved design.

Like the OMEGA C case, it has no breaks and gives a more sophisticated impression.

If you look closely, the front surface has a radial hairline finish. The back side is polished on the periphery and the inside is finished differently from the vertical hairline.

The dial is a silver dial with a sunray finish, which is slightly ivory due to aging.

The hands are bar hands of the same color as the dial. If you look closely, it has a slightly chevron shape. The

index is the same bar type as the needle, but it has a three-dimensional shape with multi-faceted cuts, and the center looks black depending on the angle.

In addition, there are σ (sigma) marks on both sides of the SWISS at 6 o'clock on the dial.

This is a notation found on watches from 1973 to 2000 of a manufacturer that belonged to an organization called APRIOR, and it uses precious metals such as gold for the dial and index. Indicates.

It was put in for the purpose of "indicating that it is a high quality watch made in Switzerland in gold".

Rolex, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, IWC, Omega 5 watch specifications, but not all watches.

Rolex seems to have adopted it from around 1973 to the mid-1970s, and it is highly evaluated by collectors for its high rarity. The

movement is equipped with a hand-wound Cal.1600. (The photo of the machine was taken before the overhaul)

I matched it with a thin and shiny dark brown leather strap.

A genuine Rolex SS buckle is included.

Overhauled at Matsuno Clock Shop. The case has been polished.

1 year warranty.
